What are the System Requirements for Spinsoft CMS?

You must be connected to the internet, and your PC or Mac must have one of the supported browsers installed, and meet the system requirements for that browser.  These browsers include:

• Internet Explorer 7 or later
• Firefox 3 or later

Other modern browsers (such as Chrome, Safari and Opera) also work, but are not officially supported.  Note that these requirements are for the administration interface only, your website seen by your visitors will work in any common browser and we do our best to ensure your website looks the same across different browsers.

What if I don't want to update the site myself?

Spinsoft offer a Website Management service, charged at an hourly rate in small 15 minute increments. 

Even if you think you might not get a chance to update the site yourself, simply having your site running on Spinsoft Website Builder gives you plenty of freedom:

• If you change your mind and want to maintain your own site, you can simply log in!
• If you don't have time to update your site, we can do it for you.
• Since the Content Management System is quite easy to use, you can train existing employees such as Personal Assistants or Secretaries, making good use of their time and improving their skill set.

Is Spinsoft CMS search engine friendly?

Yes!  We have spent a lot of time optimising the way content works with search engines.  This includes custom pages, products, news articles and all other areas of your website.  The URL of pages shown in the address bar is specifically designed to be human readable, which search engines love!

Can I use a domain that I registered elsewhere?

Absolutely, we will even assist you in setting it up to point to our servers so that you can use the Website Builder.

Can I host Spinsoft CMS on my own server/hosting?

We do not currently allow this for a number of reasons, however we are considering this for the future.  All of our licences include managed hosting which is setup to allow some advanced features in our Content Management System - we also monitor the servers to ensure your website remains working as intended.
