Product Ghosting Coming Soon
The next update which includes the Membership Module and other updates mentioned below, will also be including some updates to the product module, particularly Product Ghosting.
Product Ghosting allows you to create a 'ghost' of an existing product and put this ghost in any other category. The ghost is permanently linked to the original product and doesn't have any settings of its own apart from which category it is in, instead it uses the exact same settings as the original product.
This will allow you to multiple categories with the same products, giving you complete control over how your product catalog is structured, without having to double up on products. An example of the use might be having links on your menu to 'Products by Type', 'Products by Manufacturer' and 'Products by Model' all at the same time.
We will be keeping it simple at this stage, but will be monitoring its use and seeing if it needs some settings or changes made in later updates.

Membership Module Underway
The membership module has been on the drawing board for some time now, and is currently being implemented for the next update. This is the second optional module in our content management system and will give you the flexibility to control how members view your site.
The membership module will allow you to restrict pages, files and products to certain member and features a host of other useful functions which allow you to control how your site behaves depending on who is logged in.
The update is expected to go live before the end of June 2006 and will contain some other new features and changes. Major changes include the introduction of the form builder to the base module. Keep an eye out for further information on the next update, Spinsoft Website Builder version 1.03.03.

Search Engine Optimization
Spinsoft Website Builder licenses now come with a SEO document which covers techniques needed for better search engine results. The document is a result of many hours of research and insight from other sources and includes detailed information as well as step by step instructions.
The Website builder content management system does everything right in terms of code and providing you with all of the tools you need to put these search engine optimisations techniques into practice, so this document is the final piece of the puzzle.
We are also introducing another feature to help getting your site listed, which will automatically generate your google sitemaps and keep them up to date.
