Spinsoft Website Builder V2 just around the corner

The reason for the lack of recent news has been the current development work on the new interface.  There are a tonne of new features, and an entire new interface which works in I.E, firefox and on both PC and Mac's.

As we get closer to the release, each week we will be taking a look into the new website builder features that you can look forward too.

Updates on the way

News has been slightly neglected of late as we are hard at work on many new features for the Website Builder.  Recently we release a 1.03.08 Beta version so everyone can try out the new Wizard Interface which guides you through step by step when performing actions such as adding/editing pages.

A new section, Form Manager, was also added with this update and gives extra functionality to any of your custom forms.  Simply insert the reference ID and you can get statistics on the form, store submissions within the website builder, and even apply formula to submitted forms!

Other features such as the new exclusive donation checkout were added to the system to handle charity and similar websites.

There is loads more on the way, and development on the Version 2 interface is also underway - the cross browser, cross platform website builder is well on the way!  Hopefully we will see it before Christmas.

Website Builder tested in IE6 and IE7

We have released a small update which now makes Spinsoft Website Builder fully functional in both IE6 and IE7.  There were some minor formatting issues with the new browser that have all been resolved.

Currently Spinsoft Website Builder requires Internet Explorer 6 or 7, however one of the updates later this year is focused on a brand new interface that will work in other browsers such as Mozilla, Opera and Safari - also meaning that the website builder will be available for use on Mac's as well as PC's.

While it's a little down the track, we have already started planning this update and are very excited about the new changes!

E-commerce Module Released!

The E-commerce Module is now available! With this module you can start selling your products online and manage your stock.

The E-commerce Module uses the Membership and Product Module to integrate into an online shop.  Customers can place orders online and checkout with the Payment and Shipping Methods you have set up.

You can also sell both physical and digital goods online, even if you are taking orders without a Credit Card payment gateway.  Customers each get their own special 'My Downloads' section where they can access the Digital Goods which they have purchased.

This module also has many other features including:

• Setup Order Discount, Coupon Discount and Free Shipping rules.
• Automatically update your stock levels and get low stock emails sent to you, so you know when to re-order.  This email will include a list of your suppliers for the product and their
• Customers can place orders online, and manage their shopping cart, saved carts and order history.
• Full filtering options for your order list, so you can easily find any order in the system.
• Optional Export options on check-out so that your customers can declare if an order should be tax exempt.
• and much more!

E-commerce Module just around the corner!

That's right - the e-commerce module is very close to being completed with the final touches and testing underway!  We hope to have the new module available as early as next week.

The new module adds many new features to your website:

• Customers can place orders online, and manage their shopping cart, saved carts and order history.
• Setup custom payment and shipping methods which are automatically used depending on the customers country and state.
• Sell digital/intangible goods, giving your customers a special 'my downloads' section.
• Handle order tracking, discounts and more!
• Get sales and customer reports.

Newsletter Module Released 

The newsletter module is now available!  With this module you can create newsletter campaigns and send out issues to your recipient lists. 

The newsletter module doesn't require any other modules, however it optionally interacts with the membership module, allowing you to synchronize your recipient lists with your member lists based on criteria such as gender, country etc.

Our unique system with compliance checks and and advanced unsubscribing for your recipients, minimizes the risk of accidentally spamming.  This allows you to create your newsletters with confidence.

Here's some of the features and things you can do:

• Create and send as many newsletters as you like, only restricted by your diskpace and bandwidth limits.
• Many settings you customize how your newsletters are sent and tracked, with silent tracking, opt-in tracking and summary mode tracking options.
• Click through tracking, read duration and more depending on the settings you choose.
• Create as many recipient lists as you like, importing for Excel files, CSV files, manually entering recipeints or synchronizing with your member list. 
• Schedule your newsletter to send at a specific date and time.
• Customized Rich Text Editor designed to style your newsletters in a format that is supported by more email clients.

New Update Released - 1.03.04

We have released the new version today and all clients have been backed up and updated.  This update was initially intended to tie up some loose ends from the last update that didnt make the schedule, but we ended up extending this update with some extra features and improvmenents.
